Three days in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, near Prayer Mountain, to rest, reconnect, and encounter Jesus,
where gentle walks, quiet mornings, and sisterhood make room for what God wants to do.
Grief tore open my world the day my husband was taken home. In the deepest place of that loss, I met Jesus in a way I had never known. Not as an idea, not as a figure in a story, but as the Living One who stepped into my pain and stayed.
Out of that holy place, He rebuilt me. Through dreams, visions, and encounters that stitched me back together piece by piece. And then one day His voice came clearly, unmistakably: "Create space for others to meet Me the way you have."
Dear sister, that is what this retreat is. Not a conference. Not another event on your calendar. It is a three-day sanctuary where the spiritually hungry come away from the noise and come face to face with the Heart of God. If you feel the quiet tug reading these words, it is not an accident. He is inviting you. I am simply opening the door.
This is what we are expecting God to do in the room, for every woman who says yes and comes.
Bodies restored. Pain lifted. What you have carried in your flesh, Jesus is ready to carry for you.
Fresh fire. New language. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, poured out over you until you overflow.
Not as an idea. Not as a figure in a story. As the Living One. Face to face, in the room, in your spirit.
Grief set down. Shame unmasked. The places you thought would ache forever, made whole in His presence.
Ministers gathered to teach, prophesy, and usher the presence of God into the room.
No rushed schedule. No programmed filler. Every session, every meal, every walk and quiet hour is intentional. Time to reconnect with yourself, with other women, and with God.
I have been blessed to attend these retreats. I love when we meditated on Jesus. This has brought me closer to God. The Holy Spirit fills every retreat. I have also enjoyed leading a few beginner hikes for several of the retreats. I can't wait for the next retreat.
I have enjoyed the Heart of God Retreats for the last two years! Finding a tranquil haven where I can relax and get closer to God has been a blessing. I always love all the speakers. I made new friends during the retreat. I can't wait to return for another rejuvenating retreat.
This retreat changed my whole life. God healed me from pain I had for months. During a guided meditation on Jesus, I left my body and saw God and He told me I was going to be alright. After this I could move again, and for three months now I have no pain. Praise God!
The Sky Canyon Christian retreat was wonderful! I connected with other women. The retreat was calming and inspirational. I had lots of emotions come up during the meditation on Jesus, and I felt a sense of peace, calm, and rest. The whole experience was much-needed rejuvenation.
